Canal-Copenhagen
Busy, busy day.  I love Copenhagen!  Our groups had so much fun in the city!  We are really tired, but we are looking forward to some good rest tonight!  Danes are really excited about the soccer game tonight versus Germany.  Bikes really are everywhere in this city, and families seem to spend a great deal of time together.  Our hotel is wonderful, and we each have our own individual rooms.  I loved the canal boat tour and long walks around Copenhagen with great people.  The weather is very unpredictable; one minute the sun is shining and a moment later, it's raining!  Denmark is an incredible country with health and environment-conscious citizens.  Dinner tonight was about 120 Kroner...only sounds like a lot of money!  Divide this amount by six to find the approximate amount in US currency!

  1. Ms. Wilson-
It looks like you are enjoying your trip and learning a lot! I like the mode of transportation for the children- Maybe one of your students will invent a vehicle that could be used in our mountains!
I remember how the exchange students compared our ways of life to theirs in Denmark. The differences are already obvious!
What is the significance of the sud fountain?

  2. Hi Ms. Wilson! I miss you! I have no clue about the significance of the sud fountain, but we were all playing in it! I love the mode of transportation here and how bikes move so efficiently and safely around the city. There are even bike tracks for the stairs. Today we went to an amazing school and business that I will blog about later and talk with you more about. I hope you are doing well! :)

  3. The family bike is cool! I've ridden one that our dad was driving. Me and Mitchell were switching off on his bike. But, I can't describe how it feels to clinging onto a narrow bench for dear life, while our dad is going down a huge hill. Ugggghhhhhhhh. Pruett Norris, AKA Bob the Wize
